The love between the lark and the jumping mouse.
For a long time the jumping mouse was pleased with the occasional singing and the beauty of the boisteroulsly and incalculable lark, sometimes the lark sat from time to time with the jumping mouse in their warm hole and they ate together good things, everything was fine.

But one time the jumping mouse wanted to have the lark always in its warm, cosy cave with her, so they got married, and the lark should mind the common children and live regularly, as it seemed reasonable. But the lark stopped singing and became mumbling and ill.

There the jumping mouse had finally compassion and followed the suggestion of the lark (and its Therapist, the magpie), to live in a nest on a tree.

However, in the middle on one of their flights between nest and cave, as the lark again had good times with her rejoiced life and was full of delight – she forgot the fact that the jumping mouse cannot fly and released her. The jumping mouse fell from the sky to death. As the lark noticed this she fell itself afterwards, but it was too late, both fell directly into a lake where they deplorably drowned.
Since this times the lark lives in a nest on the ground, but never found so much love again as with the jumping mouse.
